plasma or lcd

just brought a new house with a 20ftx15ft living room my 28inch television looks a bit swallowed up! looking to buy a plasma or lcd been given conflicting advise to what one is best please can any one help!

    At the end of the day, goto your local superstore and ask to watch the T.V's on display.

    Write down the ones you like for a shortlist and then..........toss a coin :rolleyes:

    Reading the link I've just posted would make me go for a LCD, little advantage having a plasma.

    Personal preference these days. Not a huge difference in the two, although LCD seems to be the most progressive technology and the panels last longer.

    Plasmas seem to handle a poor broadcast signal better than LCD.
