Holding Companies for shares

Hi
I have a few shares but they seem to be registered with different holding companies like Computershare and Shareview. Can I change them to just one holding company? So when I look online they are altogether.

Lady Harriet - What you call 'holding companies' are the company Registrars which only the company can change.

What you can do is set up a Shareview [Equiniti] portfolio [which you may already have done] by entering details of any shares where Equiniti are the Registrar. You need to register with Shareview with a Userid, Password and your date of birth to do that.

Then, Shareview allows you to add to your portfolio "Investments Held Elsewhere" - so you can add your shares where the Registrar is Computershare or Capita, for instance. The daily current value for these will be shown separately at the end of your Shareview portfolio valuation.

The only difference is that whereas Equiniti will automatically update any changes in share holdings where they are the Registrar, you yourself will have to update the "Investments Held Elsewhere" if you buy or sell any of those.
