I love the house I am buying and feel that I am paying a reasonable price for it, as its a unique house rarther than a box, valuing them is allways harder.

Settle on a price that you are happy to pay, dont !!!!!! the vendor about wanting reductions on a wonky nail and hope that your buyer proceeds quickly and efficently, and wont !!!!!! you about, happy days!

  • Again pawpurrs I agree. You have to find a home that stands out to you. How many houses can you view before you find the one that you know you have to have. I lost out on a house I wanted last year as I couldnt sell mine and now I am looking again I cannot find anything that matches it. It has really put a downer on my house move. If you are planning on living in the house for a few years or more you pay what feels right. I would never pay an asking price unless the house had a lot of interest as I know EA's over value most property's but if the EA has made the vendor believe there property is worth £150k originally they will expect at least 90% back.

what the vendor paid for the house is irrelevant. pay what YOU think it worth.
