We have a polycarbonate-roofed lean to on the house, the width of the house, but rather than that joining the house directly, it has been topped with a flat (2' wide) piece of flat roofing (which acts like a handy walkway for clearing the gutters.
The flat roofing piece needs replacing. It is about 2'wide and about 18' long - and sits on a timber framework, that then supports the polycarbonate roof below.
I have a quote here:
- to remove the existing covering and dispose
- supply/fit new ply deck
- supply/lay three layers of hot-honded mineral felt
- supply/fit new cover flashing to abutment wall with Code 4 lead to leave sound/water tight.
Quote is for labour/materials. £675.
What do you think?
I am working from the quote given to us, so cannot answer any technical questions.
Cheers

Seems like a very awkward job, so may incur a premium. Does not sound too bad, but you really need another one or two local quotes.
They seem to have quoted for correct spec materials, so make sure other quotes quote like-for-like0 -
Why use felt again? Rubber, EPDM or fibreglass are better options. 30-4o- yrs lifespan seems better than 6-10yrs. price is reasonable .0
