Any ideas on getting cheap UK car hire
We're due to go on holiday, staying in the UK on Bank Holiday Monday. I'm quite worried about using my car, guzzles petrol and has just needed a lot of money spending on it so was considering car hire.
I've managed to find a quote for £124 for 1 week's car hire but wondered if anyone had any tried and trusted ways of getting it even cheaper than this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try toyota. Our local one in derby is cheap, something like £18+vat for a day inc insurance for a yaris, might be cheaper if hiring for a week. Plus they won't screw you over like enterprise have us in the past.0
