If you send me £150.00 pounds I can promise you I can get your difference refunded.

    Please use western union.

    Ok then.....

Please be on the lookout for a badly phrased fake email in your junk folder saying that the payment has been sent, but is being held subject to you entering details of YOUR payment via Western Union.......

  • Hi

I payed YESloans the admin fee about 2 weeks ago. Stupid i know, im gutted should have read more detail before commiting. On the up side what i have been doing because i can never seem to contact them directly, i have been filling in the online quick application with false details (usually use the name of the person that rings me previous) ie Kyle Conman. As expected they ring back within 10mins, i tell them who i really am and i want a refund i get put on hold and the process strats again. The staff are extremely thick. I asked what department are you in, the reply i recieved was "Im in the yes loans department". I said i would like a refund then , "hold the line i just put you through to the right department". Havent had any joy yet but ive got a list of about 6 names so far and ive listen to music on hold for hours. Im studying so it kind of gives me a break every 10 or so mins.

Are you paying for that call???
  • I agree I went through a company called UCC in 2007 and they were fantastic the only problem is they got my loan with Welcome Finance and charged me £75 but because Yes loans had already taken the £59 I refused to pay it but they said Ok we will add it to your account so when I got the loan of £2,000 I really got one for £2.075.

Welcome Finance however are a load of rubbish treating people with no
substance. I recently tried again through UCC but they nolonger do what they did back then they pass you to another broker which wasn't very good!

Yes Loans contacted me after getting my details from another loan brokerage firm. I spent 10 minutes with the female going through my details and finalily she asked me to pay a £59 admin fee. As I was in fromt of my laptop at the time I quickly keyed in their web address and then quite hapily told the female that I would not be making a payment as their website clearley states on its front page that they, and I quote, "do not take an upfront fee".

The female wriggled about a bit and then said that it was okay and it could be sorted out a t a later date. Great I thought.

On to the next person, a male who introduced himself as the credit file asseser and underwritter. Okay I thought, this should be good!
20 minutes later and we had gone through my credit file. I had answered all of the questions with honesty and had explained the reason for my poor credit score was my lack of time on the electural roll and too many searches within the last year. I have no CCJS, No Iva, no defaults.

The malle then asked me to hold while he contacted his lender. I was on hold for a further 5 minutes when he came back and said that one of their lenders had authorised the loan. He said that the next thing that would happen would be that I would recieve paperwork directly from them (the lender) and I should sign and send back via recorded delivery. I would have all of the paperwork in two working days.

I asked who the lender was, he couldnt tell me. Alarm bells right?

7 Days later and the only paperwork I have recieved is a form from YES loans asking me for £59.

I have recieved 4 calls from different brokers who had gotten my information from YES laons, but guess what, they all wanted an admin fee as well!

In the last week I have spent a grand total of 3 hours on hold to YES loans and still havent gotten to speak to anyone.

The following companies need to be avaoide at all costs:

    YES Loans
    Unsecured loan company
    Wentworth Direct

DO NOT PAY AN ADMIN FEE UPFRONT TO ANYONE FOR A LOAN.

You've been paying Interest on that £75.

You could have paid that up front and saved yourself a few quid.
