Well hopefully we should be moving on Friday 13th (subject to completion and exchange which is a pain in the bum due to our solicitor). Anyway, do those with experience think it's worth hiring a man and van? We can't afford the whole we pack for you deal, and were planning just to borrow my brothers big van and do many…

If you use a Man and Van, try and get a recommendation from a friend as there are a lot of rogues in the business.

Some will try their best to hand the job out as long as possible as they are on an hourly rate, another ruse is some will say they only quoted for collecting from outside their van to dropping off outside their van so want extra etc etc. So try and get a recommendation and ensure you state exactly what you expect from them so they can't add extras on while on the job
