Some of those quotes mentioned are a bit off putting, but I'm thinking why wait? It might only prove to be more expensive in a couple of years time.
The only thing that might stop us is access - we've only got a tiny landing, and I know from a neighbour that we had (before we moved here) that it's a bit chaotic whilst it's going on and in her case, she didn't recoup all her money.
But I'd love it if I was having the loft converted now. Plus there's the bonuses of picking up all the tips from other posters.
Might have to have a word with Mr Sofa later; but we'd only want a very basic conversion.
