Ok feedback

I just wanted to rant a bit - I have just received feedback of OK from a buyer, even though, without their asking I refunded an overpayment on postage. What do you have to do to please some people.

Leave OK back.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I've had one before and was really annoyed with it because it implies that the buyer wasn't pleased although I always go out of my way to describe the item well, add several photos to the listing, package well, ask for reasonable postage prices and send the item next day.
If you haven't left feedback just OK them back and forget about it. It will soon be on the 2nd page of feedback and noone will notice it. Cheers.I

Perhaps this person always leaves 'OK'. I find people like this benefit from a taste of their own medicine.
I got 5 'Good's from one person. I left the same back... shortly after I did this they started expanding their repertoire to comments of more than one word :rotfl:
I guess a 'good' or 'OK' might bring you up sharp if all your other comments have been 'prompt payment, excellent ebayer, recommended!'My TV is broken!

Its just goes to show you. I'd not refund the overpayment of postage because its what they agreed to pay at the end of the day.0 -
I did that recently. Haven't received a thank you, let alone feedback. But I did it for my own concience (sp?). I find on Ebay people are rarely bothered with courtesy.
Buyers have it easy - its a hard job for a seller to make feedback interesing. Mine always gushes about prompt payment, excellent buyer, thank you - but every single buyer gets the same treatment. Although I do sometimes substitute the word prompt for fast....:wall:0 -
Agutka, totally off topic but I just love your avatar photo!0

on ebay aren't the sellers supposed to leave feedback as soon as they get the dosh? Then the buyer leaves feedback when they receive the goods? I have noticed many sellers ignore this and wait for buyers to leave feedback first just incase they give bad feedback then the seller can reciprocate. isn't that against the rules?[size=-2]Remember its nice to be nice and its good to share!

There aren't any real rules about feedback, neither buyer nor seller needs to leave any anyway if they chose not to.
Some sellers leave feedback immediately, many don't and only leave feedback when the buyer leaves feedback and indicates they are happy with the transaction.

Why not reply with somthing like OK .......how about 'acceptable' or 'Fine'...not as short a word as 'OK' though!
I tend to Mirror comments - and buyers usually start to change thier feedback in later trades.
Mind you it could be that the buyer does not have a good command of English OR that they are just a person of few words!:shhh:I am NOT a Woman! - its Overland Landy (as in A Landrover that travels Overland)
