Ive had an offer from Loans.co.uk, they are offering £2656.29

They say:
This is equivalent to a full refund of PPI (£4200) plus interest paid on the premium to date £376.09, less the rebate recieved when policy cancelled (£2100) We have also included interest of 8% on the payments made towards the PPI (£180.20). Is the 8% on what PPI u paid?

Thanks very much xx

hi, the 8% does seem a bit low, i think i know what they have doen but first need a bit more information to confirm this.

when was the loan taken out,
    over what period,
which month was first payment and when was last.
how much each monthly premium was.

from what i can see it looks as though they have only offered the 8% on the monthly premiums you have actually paid, not the amount the full amount that was still paid by you upon settlement.

ie. 4200 - 2100 (rebate) = 2100 total ppi paid, 376 was apid as monthly installmanets and it looks like they are only giving you the 8% on the 376.

once you post the additional information i can give a better idea.
from memory didn't i give a few options on a PM on whot you could expect back listing different rebate scenarios.
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free
