Halifax Home Insurance Direct Debits

Hi all,
I am just about to move into my first home and have just booked Halifax Home Insurance. I set the payment date to the 7th of every month for the direct debit and was advised there would be one payment of approximately £50 followed by 10 payments of approx £35.
My question is, when will my first payment be? I would expect this to be the 7th of September and then 10 payments every month after this, is that correct?
Thanks

Have you shopped around for your household insurance, is it too late to cancel it. It seems extremely expensive.
This is usual when you go with the same people for your mortgage and your insurance.
I have a 3 bedroom semi and its £200 for buildings and contents for a year, fully comp, accidental damage, items away from the home, legal cover.
Im with the Coop by the way.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
