custom tshirts....

Options
I am after a couple (or three) custom tshirts with my logo printed on.... So far I have had massive quotes (in excess of £20 each) which I really can't afford at the moment.

Can anyone recommend a tshirt printer that is good value, but not cheap and nasty looking.... I;ve looked at vistaprint but I'm not sure of their quality... anyone ordered before??

Thanks in advance

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my Vistaprint t-shirts. The graphics weren't the best, but the fabric wasn't thin, and it's pre-shrunk cotton so not shrinking in the wash!

Are you a member of Makro? A couple of stores do custom workwear.

I too have had loads of t shirts from them, when they are on for free lol - usually as mess about ones, but the quality is fairly good, and as another poster said, they wash fine.

Presumably the £20+ charge is mainly due to the setup cost of the logo? Generally this costs a lot then once it is on file future orders cost far less.

If you are likely to need more t-shirts down the line for you and your staff I would consider getting them professionally done. I had a batch for myself and staff that looked good and lasted for years even though they were for a full time job.

at the moment its for some poeple that are helping me out so they will only be needed for a few wears.
There is a printer local (well about 15 miles away) that does a lot of corporate stuff that I will be using in the future but at the moment I really can't afford the spend....

I'll just wait and see what the vistaprint one is like before I make a final desicion....

THanks for all the replies so far....

    Hello Mambury!!
I got some tshirts from vistaprint and the tshirts themselves were v good quality, printing was ok but then my logo is quite pale and yours is brighter so should be better. If not what about the tshirt printing place next to BJ's or i did see one yesterday in Barnstaple behind what used to be the Tavern (god knows what its called now!)
