    Hi All

Please read the post above. This thread is to get across the message that if you are unlucky enough to encounter a nasty response then this is not typical and most people on here want to help, advise and support each other.

So to newcomers please stick around and wait for the good advice you are sure to get, and for the old timers as Handy reminded us yesterday lets just remember how vulnerable and desperate some people are when they first post and act with some care in our responses.

We try to keep this thread on the first page all the time and to ensure that the message above is at the top of each new page. The random posts and chatter in between are just to keep this thread visible to all. Feel free to join in but remember the most important part is to report the trolls (and spammers) and give good advice to newcomers on the DFW forum (and elsewhere as well!).

Great words from both Pania and Tixy which can't be repeated often enough:D

Hi Spoon, no luck with little Bumble. Last time I found him he was sat in the middle of our one track lane, near the main road crying. The night before I found him we heard a sound like something being murder'd in our Orchard. It turned out later to be Bumble shouting for attention.
His Owner told me that one of their neighbours threatened to shoot him because of the noise he makes. (Watch this Space). He is so helpless that anything could get him. His owner said she was going to get a tracker like you put on Hawks so if he wandered again she could find him.

If he does turn up on my side of the valley, I know I won't feel inclined to return him this time. He really is a lovely special little Moggy. I'm Just keeping everything crossed he turns up OK.

    Regards, handy.

    Fingers crossed for Bumble.

Right, I'm off to bed and chaining Fred to the railings for the night.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I stayed the same weight this week and hubbie lost 1 1/2 lbs but we have missed a few meals this week for one reason or another and have not had many veggies so I'll plan better this week

I think I was a little lower till I had all that ice cream...I haven't much of a clue...slept most of Sabbath so raided tinned stuff (meatballs....hardly veggie  but cheaper than tinned tuna right now :T)

So what...I'm skinny :D...does it matter? Nope not unless you 4'5" and 200lbs....(scaring myself here)

Ma is still a huge stress and I can't deal with her anymore..It's really hard to get out of contact - even for one day cos she's like sooo manipulative and unpredictable (she called the police on me a few years ago just for not texting her before 8am...being woken up @ 9am on a Saturday is normal for me by her cos I haven't...all I want is a lie in! Go figure...she says she recognises my recovery - she's not acting like it...first response to me being in the psych unit the other week was not'sorry I hope you feel better soon' but 'if you were at risk you needed it' - don't quite know what she thought I was doing? Don't think I want to know...Had enough....she can go play footsie on the roof of Hooray Hall....want the control back I'M IN MY 30'S I'M NOT A CHILD...Argh ...

Anyhow not sleep fab Sabbath evening so get to work half zombied (mid row with Ma...why can't she tell when I'm phoning on my mobile walking to work????) and like just take it easy...check the tracking (feel better thingy) and like discover it's out for delivery  so get first bus home...get home..no parcel....argh....in a nutshell no parcel till 5pm so no nap nothing :(...I needed a nap :(..

But Parcelforce customer services on the phone handled my sleep deprived freak outs in the PM with finesse :T so that's one courier who has good service:D. I value that...in fact I phoned back after the parcel came and told the manager...she got a shock...she didn't hear the hysterical sleep deprived rant @ 5pm...

So now on the hunt for a cheap hoover :D...found one at the posh charity shop and will pick up today...got to google for reviews though :)

FP looks really good but no dough blade that I had my eye on though read something somewhere about them possibly upgrading them in the autumn to include blender attachment so will have to buy with cash back...decent recipe book and the pics online don't do it justice :D...even in white it's SOOOO cute....:) (it's a magimix le plus mini) and have sold the breadmaker (did I tell you folk that?)

So no guerilla gardening tonight cos no compost as yet...budget dictates will have to get from students :) (i.e. free) but should happen...

anyhow just so you didn't think I'd skateboarded off the eiffel tower I thought I'd better make an appearance...

Sorry about moggy cat.....I caught the cat from next door at work yesterday trying to eat bees..stupid cat!!!
