New page and a new reminder ;)

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

    What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!

What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:

    report.gif

Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM
It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT
A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give

Oooh, Erme, what's snow cake? And do we have to wait until it snows? Can we have a practise run just to check the recipe is ok before it snows? ;)

Hope it all goes well and baby makes her appearance soon!

Ames, my friend was 38 hours before they decided emergency action was needed! And I know she hasn't told me the worst of it 'cos I've not got any kiddies and she doesn't want to put me off. I have told her she should go around the high schools and tell the story - I think that might help lower the teenage pregnancy rate!

You all had a very hectic weekend! Looks like you drank waaaaayyyyyyyyy more than me and I was at a wedding! (Had to buy a last minute emergency dress as the zip on mine split and I the wedding next to Donnington Park, not Glasgow!). But it was a fab wedding with cupcakes and sweeties from the 80's :D (wham bars, fruit salad, mojos, black jacks... my dentist will kill me!)

But I'm now totally confused as the wedding was a Sunday wedding - but I can't get my head around that so I keep thinking it's Sunday night just now!

Off to bed in the hope it will help my addled brain!

Take care every-one, good night :)

I'm just waking up LOL....I didn't make work (anxious)...and went back to bed and then got fixated and ended up getting a new sewing machine from Mr L in the pouring rain ...no good for the whoopsie spend...

Then got home and pulled apart Mr Hoover and like discovered the belt had snapped...None of the department stores do them so a quick call to somewhere local where 2 old gents (they must have been in their eighties) had one left. I've put it on but not turned the roller so don't know if it'll work or not but it's on for sure :)...but the belts are only about £2 so I must order spares :j

Anyhow sewing class in the am so can't stay up THAT long..... LOL...it's been pouring...I like autumn but I tend to get winter blues in the winter but I do love snow :)..snow last year was FAB..

    Blessings

It's in some frugal US mennonite recipe book I found on my shelf...it has snow it in and flour and I can't recall what else.. It's supposed to be for kids..It'll do me just fine :T

I got a good food processor bread making book today second hand from the states..The magimix le mini is fine but you need recipe books that are 30 years old for it :). I don't like all the milk solids in the bread (expensive) but everything else looks fine...I'm just waiting on my whole grains book to come by the same author (she's on google books and is something unpronouceable)...but this book is hardback..no dust jacket and has croissant and tea cakes (they call coffee breads) and DOUGHNUTS :)

    Blessings

PS...Borassic I'm sure the problem having looked at it, with your signature is just too many free lines (spaces where you've hit the return key) between the first line and the second line so just reduce that and I'm sure it'll be fine but I find the really tiny writing hard to read so if you could delete the font size on the tiny writing and just highlight it then use the WYSIWYG editor to make it next size up it'd be appreciated...

Alternatively like someone said, cut and paste the original and put it in your word processor on your main computer for reference then start again...or even write it down in a notebook
