Sadly there will always be trolls of some kind. As you say, they obviously have not enough going on in their own lives, but quite what the Dalai Lama has to do with it, i dont know. If these trolls were at all concerned with what His Holiness teaches, they wouldnt have the time to be a troll.

he he he this post made me chuckle all the ay thru my run! :rotfl:actually I think everyone should read HH Dalai Lama The art of happiness. I have and its had a real impact on me, and although its early days I can't help but think there's a lot of sense in what he's saying. The happier & kinder I am to ppl the more they warm to me, the better I feel about myself, or if they don't warm to me I think "well I tried" and continue without feeling bad. (oops I can feel my soap box coming out :o) I can disagree with someone on something that's important to me & that's ok I don't need to harbour some grudge and I can feel sadness about something in my life without it ruining other parts of my life & spiralling me into depression.

In my humble opinion its a good philosophy to have, to search for my own happiness with love and kindness & the same wish for every human being in my heart :)

It would be great wouldn't it, if we could make people think the way we want them to?, perhaps read what we want them to? Sadly that isn't the case. Putting our own lives in order is the way to move forward. I'm pleased that you have found that you are the creator of your own happiness. It's a long process, and after studying the teachings for more than 20 years, i have to say, i'm still learning!. :)

I often feel sorrow about things that happen, but the more we learn to let go of attachment, the more we can see that these are just human emotions that we can overcome, with patience, understanding and a lot of compassion. I look at things, acknowledge them for what they are and move on. As you say, we don't need to let things that worry us overspill in to other areas of our lives. :)

Help yourself to the Muffins Geebee as you were kind enough to provide some excellent breakfasts in the last 2 days! They are triple chocolate, so I hope that's ok:D
