Your actually wrong there sewage plants are set up to destroy harmful organisms be they from human faeces or any other form of faeces or waste. It is a biological process aimed at organic matter no matter what it is. Water is tested before it is allowed back into rivers or the water system,
Wrong!! Rita Rabbit is correct! I work for a Utility Company and as per previous posts Sewage Treatment Works do not remove Toxiplasmosis and it ends up infecting aqautic mammals such as otters! Even been found in dolphins! "Bag it and bin it"0 -
No way would the Water companies risk our health if the water is not safe to drink. Flushable cat litter is quite safe to flush and unless the water companies tell us otherwise then i'll continue to use it.0

Applaws claim the Worlds best cat litter. Hope it's better than their dog food, that left mine hungry all the time.
Applaws seem far more geared to cats than dogs, I must say. Dogs seem to be an add on.
They make the claim, hold them to it. If PAH sell it, they will take it back if it doesn't live up to its claims.
My local PAH is brilliant, think that's down to the manager who goes beyond normal service. Must send an email to HO.0 -

The water you drink has gone thro' a vast number of processes to make it drinkable - you don't drink water straight from the river?!
Flushable cat litter isn't good to flush re above reason and the possiblilty it will settle out and then block the sewers!0 -
Sorry don't have any advice on non-trackable litter, I use the wood pellets.
The only other suggestion is that I have seen mats in Pets at Home which are designed to sit outside the tray and therefore catches carry over - guess it only works on hooded trays tho'.0
