Water damage from flat 2 floors above

We have just noticed that we have big brown stains on the ceiling in our kitchen and bathroom in flat we own.
I called on the flat above and the lady advised that she had been away for the week end and came back to discover that it was the flat above her (ie 2 above us) that had the leak so it is obviously going through her flat into ours.
Both of the flats are rented. We own ours.
Whose insurance do we claim from and will it be a hassle?
Thought I had already posted this this morning but cant see it. Must have been half asleep.

You pay for the repairs via your own insurer. If they can prove the responsible tenant has acted negligently, then they may be able to get reimbursed by the tenant (if they have funds) or their insurer (if they have one).

Thanks for such a quick response.

I was really surprised that the onus is on us to claim when we were not at all at fault. I hate claiming against any insurance unless really really necessary incase you get classified as a bad risk.
