    Hi there

How long ago did you take this loan out?

And did you also requet for a Subject access Request (SAR) where they must comply and send you all they hold on the account by 40 calendar days with a payment to enclose with this request of £10 cheque or postal order payment.

More on the SAR here - template letter:

I take it that the loan was also sold and set up by Citi Financial too?

    Hi there

With a SAR, they "must" comply also with a payment you enclose and send all they still hold on you.
The SAR normally they send for the last 6 years, sometimes from even earlier years.
Any problems then you can contact the Information Commissioners office (ICO), they will let you know your rights.....#

    Keep at them, good luck.;)

Just an update but after arguing the point with Citi i decided that i would save myself the 10 for a SAR and forward to FOS. Got a reply that Citi have agreed to refund in full.

Thanks to all who replied and to all who are about to try dont give in.
