Plaster Quote

Hi,
I live in Kent and have had a plasterer come in to do some work in my house.
Its a 2 bed terraced and I am gutting the whole place out.
I need to get the following done:

2 x Bedrooms (walls and celings)
Small Lounge (walls and ceilings)
Small Diner (walls and celings)
Upstairs hallway (one wall only and ceiling)
Stairs (10 steps) both sides of the wall and new ceiling (plasterboard)

I have got 2 guys in at present and it took them 6 days to finish 2 of the bedrooms (walls and ceilings) + one wall taken back to the brick and then bonded and one wall plasterboarded and they have charged £660.
Is that a good price?
I have told them to stop until we agree on a fixed price for the rest.
Any advice, much appreciated.

Taken far too long IMO a good spread should crack that out in 2/3 days on his own.

TBH yes - I'd expect said spread to charge quite a bit more actually if t'were in London. I've got a feeling in me water you think its too expensive.

The problem for me is they are taking far too long as mentioned above. You shouldn't be paying them by the hour or the day but at those prices (£ 50 a man-day plus matls) if you are happy with their work - keep with it.

Many thanks for the advice.
I spoke to the guys last night and they have agreed that they will finish off the lounge, diner, hallway and stairs in 4 days.
