Firefox Crashed

Hi all.
I am using Firefox but it has just crashed. When I restarted it all my bookmarks have disappeared along with the bookmarks toolbar links.
I followed the help advice to recover everything from Profiles, but a lot of the links have not been restored. Help please.

as a firefox user i think i will make a backup of my bookmarks.
my firefox crashed few times when i try to open some files on the internet but have not lost my bookmark.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way
