Help me decide on a new printer (please)

Please bear in mind that the Canon doesnt always accept non-canon cartridges and therefore can work out expensive.
HP are good but the cartridges are more than the printer.
Epson usually takes compatible cartriges and I've had my r320 for a while and its been okay/good and very cheap to run using the protech compatibles.
I'm on the verge of buying a new one so opinions are interesting, however its really between the epson sx5series or the kodak, for both i've heard varying comments0 -
