Am fuming with Littlewoods! Ordered a bed for my daughter and was given a delivery date of July 12th so got rid of hers on the 11th. Bed never arrived, so phonepd and was told it would be delivered the next day. And it never was. Phoned again and was told it was 'missing' so would need to be traced and I would get a call within three days to tell me when itwould arrive but no one rang. Called again and was told a manager would ring within 12 hours and they didn't. Got a new date of 27th July, no bed. Called them, manager supposed to ring within four hours, they called me five days later and told me bed would arrive today - 4th August. Get a call from the depot earlier saying its not coming due to IT problems!!! Have had four days off work and got a bedless daughter, plus spent money ringing them and they don't care less. Anybody know if it would be worth sending them a bill for my lost wages? Am really annoyed with them, poor daughter getting sick of the couch now :mad:

That's awful.

How did you pay for it?

If it was credit card I'd be tempted to claim the money back and purchase a bed elsewhere.

Sorry to say this but... why did you get rid of the bed? I would have waited for the new one put it together etc and seen if I wanted it first.

I hope you sort this out though! I do not know if they will cover your wages though as they will just blame it on the courier.

Yes if paid for buy CC i would chargeback and go elsewhere.
