E-bay policy on sending to different address?

Have been given a neg as buyer asked me, after it was posted to sent to a different address that was not registered with e-bay (her daughters).
I sent it to the address on e-bay but did manage to sent it to 87 rather than 67. She has received the item but has still negged for me posting it to the wrong address.
Question is - OK I sent it to the wrong number in the right street but do I deserve a neg? AND
What is e-bay poicy on sending to a different address? Is there a link I can send her to show her.
Am annoyed as it was my first neg.
