please advise on order cancelled

Hi everyone im really annoyed i had bought a side board from argos this was back 3rd July the one i really wanted i signed up to get an email when it was back in stock and on the 5th July i got an email to say this item is back in stock the items were half price as sale on so i called and cancelled ord and replaced it with the item i wanted i asked the advisor if the item would definately arrive as i didnt want to cancel the first ord and be left with none she said yes our supplier can get us more of those now anyway was told 2 weeks delivery checked bank and money had been taken out a few days later got a call to say delivery delayed and would be two weeks that was mon 26th now recieved a call today to say they cant get the stock im so annoyed as they have had my money for 4 weeks now and ive lost out on the other side board is there anything i can do?

Apply some grammar to your post - it makes no sense.

not with alot of hassle basically, ask for the money back, make a complaint and see whether they will meet you some of the distance to a superior sideboard?
