hi guys, i posted this as you guys usually come up with the answer:D. we had a huge storm yesterday and found a wet patch on our stairwell ceiling. as my hubby works away from home its down to me to find the source, so up i went into loft, i cant see where the waters comming from but what i could see is a bulge whereall loose contrete isabout 2 feet away , so i presume either a cracked tile. or when the plumber was up on roof putting vent in hes crushed the tile and the concrete underneath has gave way. so whats the best product to repair this with? il need to repair possibly a tile, and whatever sits underneath inside and out? can you name good easy products and where i can buy them? sorry its sooooooooo long and boring thread lol xxxxwendy

You should just need to replace the cracked/broken tile/slate.
The concrete you are talking about will most probebly be old lime/horsehair benching which they used to use, before underfelt.A thankyou is payment enough .0 -

If it is asbestos, you could use a piece of materboard to patch the hole, and use fire cement( ready mixed) or a panel adeshive to fix it to the asbestos, that way you will not be drilling/screwing etc into the asbestos.
Always use PPE equipment.A thankyou is payment enough .0
