The transactions numbers we are seeing at the moment, are the new normal.
Very possibly. But these transaction numbers are enough to support todays prices.
Mortgage rationing will ease at some point, but until then I don't see transaction numbers increasing dramatically.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Round my way it's winter. My porch roof got trashed in the storm on Monday night. No idea what that means for house prices. Up if you're Hamish, down if you're carolt I guess.
Anyhoo, non-seasonally adjusted price up 0.6% mom. Prices rising faster than wages which are falling in real terms which will most likely squeeze FTBs who don't already have a deposit saved up. HP:income ratio now 4.75 up from 4.53 at the start of the year. (Done from memory, sorry for any errors).0

Who would have thought it from the worlds leading bulletin board software. V Bulletin should be ashamed!0

There is a dearth of decent properties on the market and prices are certainly not dropping ' round my way' !Go round the green binbags. Turn right at the mouldy George Elliot, forward, forward, and turn left....at the dead badger0

I'll let the facts speak for themselves.
Looks like you've had three months of consecutive drops in prices
