The transactions numbers we are seeing at the moment, are the new normal.

Very possibly. But these transaction numbers are enough to support todays prices.

Mortgage rationing will ease at some point, but until then I don't see transaction numbers increasing dramatically.

Round my way the bears offer 100% guarantees rather than hope

Round my way it's winter. My porch roof got trashed in the storm on Monday night. No idea what that means for house prices. Up if you're Hamish, down if you're carolt I guess.

Anyhoo, non-seasonally adjusted price up 0.6% mom. Prices rising faster than wages which are falling in real terms which will most likely squeeze FTBs who don't already have a deposit saved up. HP:income ratio now 4.75 up from 4.53 at the start of the year. (Done from memory, sorry for any errors).

I live in Kent and I can say for sure that prices are not dropping. Going up yes which is a good thing. Dropping no.

Who would have thought it from the worlds leading bulletin board software. V Bulletin should be ashamed!

Same for most parts of Sussex. The South East will always lead the recovery.

It's like the rightmove asking prices all over again.

Asking prices and selling prices are two different things
