    Hi Denise and welcome

Personally, I would not suggest using a claims company, you may have read on this site about problems people have been having, and still waiting 2 years on, and of course it is not free.

If you were mis sold PPI, you can of course give it a go yourself with free help from this site.

All you do is complete a FOS questionnaire, (these were issued not long ago by the financial ombudsman service (FOS) to use to send to whoever set up and sold you the policy.
Complete and also remember to keep a copy for yourself.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond.

The FOS questionnaire - you will find on the link added below, further down the page as stage one.

Its more or less straight forward.

Hope this helps and if you require further help, please just give us a yell.
    Good luck.;)

Do not use a company, they cannot do anymore than you can and all it will cost you is a stamp! and not 25% plus vat. As di says you will get all the help you need on this site (and then some) give it a go, you have nothing to lose and maybe a lot to gain, if you dont win mis sell the claims co will want a fee plus some charge an upfront fee too.If you lose then you are no worse off than you were before you posted your letter.Good luck with this and keep us posted x
