Go to the above for this great deal.
Yes it is refurb and
Yes it is plus del. but still a great bargain I think.

Lots of features and not bad looking either.

the only thing is it can not use dvd- discs.and not all dvd players can play dvd+ discs.
we have that dvd recorder and although it is a good recorder the discs that we record can not be played on our dvd tablet due to it only being able to record dvd+ discs0 -
But I beleive +Rs are becoming more the norm these days and at this price that is surely only a small price to pay for the majority of users.
I on the other hand have an 'only dash R' Samsung recorder and no DVD tablet.
Perhaps we should swap?

I have 2 Philips DVD player/recorders in my house. Both of them are now faulty. they dont recognise any discs. Philips tell me that i have just been unlucky and that it is a coincidence. Just look on Ebay from time to time to see how many other unlucky people are selling their faulty Philips DVD players/recorders with exactly the same fault and then decide whether this is a bargain or not.0

just a thought for anyone with problems with their philips.
you could try downloading the firmware updates from philips and burning to disc and see if the update cures any problems.
but if it has a fault reading discs it may not even read the firmware disc? lol0 -

I know its off topic but the above reminded me of a problem with an old ISP supplier (Freeserve), I was not getting any emails and when I chased it after 2 days of reporting it they said they had sent me 3 emails asking for a better description of the fault
