I've never succeeded in just lathering once when washing my hair, I always need to give it two washes so I use up shampoo I don't like on the first wash, then use the good stuff for the second washIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

My OH is very wasteful with shampoo/shower gels - often starts a second bottle when the first hasn't been finished  . He also does it with toothpaste - loves to be the first thumbprint in the middle of a new tube!
Really irritates the life out of me when I'm trying to be the moneysaver AND keep the clutter out of the bathroom! Where shampoo/shower gel is concerned, I've started draining the dregs out of the bottles into one bottle (have to make sure it's something like a Lynx bottle so the different colours can't be noticed!). When he buys a new bottle, I squirrel it away somewhere after a couple of days and he forgets and uses the one I've left out.
Where toothpaste is concerned, I've started to use up all his bits of toothpaste (he buys the expensive stuff from HomeBargains) myself but only buy asda essential toothpaste for my own use. Money saved in my pocket :j !0
