If you have pets, use it to bath them. I had some Fructis that left my hair greasy and horrible, but my collie had a really soft and shiny coat when I used it on her :D
Here I go again on my own....
  • Get a two year old! DS kindly emptied out a whole bottle of shampoo and half a bottle of conditioner into his bath the other day! grr!

I got this idea from the American Queen of Clean book!"

I second this. I have just bought some really cheap shampoo in order to do just this - never before been able to get rid of dirty teenager tide marks on shirts and cuffs!! This works!!

I have always washed woolens in any shampoo I dont Like, they always wash a treat as the shampoo is mild not as harsh as detergent.leaves them lovely.
  • I buy as few toiletries as poss - shampoo serves as handwash/shower gel just as well as shampoo :P also use conditioner instead of shave gel - *way* cheaper and leaves skin softer - and got a big bottle of handwash that i use as shower gel as well. i buy seperate shampoo/conditioner, if i want 2in1 for hols or whatever i just mix them in an empty bottle :P

I have a ton of shampoo (either freebies, competition wins etc) ..all pretty expensive stuff but too much for me to use in this lifetime...
Any good uses for shampoo (maybe cleaning UPVC or something?)
    TIA

Surplus liquid soaps get shoved into one big squirty bottle in the utility room. You could use it for handwashing 'delicate items'
