Npower - Third Price rise in 2006 - HELP

Hi,

My dad who is a pensioner is with Npower and he is unhappy with the news of another price rise by Npower in October. They have stated that you can freeze your gas price until 2008 at the BG rate as at 1 March 2006. Has anyone heard about this and/or taken up the offer?

I am trying to find the best and cheapest deal for my dad. What about Ebico?

We would all like to know the best deal, but sadly what is the best deal today may not be tommorrow.

To go on any fixed deal is simply a gamble - you pay more now to 'insure' yourself against future price rises - but of course prices could drop.

Also there are lots of other factors like the area of country and his consumption.

All in all, Ebico seems to be close to the best for prices and service and, if they stay that way, you won't go far wrong in my opinion.
