Tinned Chilli or Curry - where to buy?

Going camping and planning on taking some of the above. I dont buy tinned prepared meals and wondered whether you could help advise me on where is best to buy from? Thanks.

Marks and spencer have their tinned chili, bolognaise and stew half price right now - around £1.20ish so a similar price to normal full priced tins and they do taste yummy.

    It's only a game

Stagg IMHO is Not Nice - it's made with Reformed meat.

A couple of weeks ago Tesco had tinned chilli for 25p but that offer has ended.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

The stuff on that site sounds delicious and the price is ok too but what is the shelf life of the food?

  • Just this week I served up M&S tinned lamb mince and steak and kidney as 'new recipe' home-made shepherds pie and s&k pie to snobby OH (he doesn't like ready-meals but fortunately does half the cooking so no complaints there!) Anyway, we're off camping too so wanted to see what he thought... Big thumbs up but he predictably got a bit funny once I 'fessed up. Would definitely recommend them, even at £2.49 per tin it's still cheaper for 2 adults & 1 toddler than eating out.
