Just had a look at this and got a surprise. Firstly it offers 5.35% not bad BUT
the minimum deposit is £10,000 and the 5.35% incs a 0.60% bonus for 6 months. With 60 days notice the 0.25% over ICICI is not worth the hassle.

I agree. You can put a lot less than that into a Birmingham Midshires 1 yr bond and get 5.5.%. Also, I never put money into accounts that have a bonus for just a short time. I am one of those who decided not to open an account with ICICI. There have been a lot of posts about them.0
