Tchibo were selling This one for less than £20 a little while ago. None on their site now but if there's a Tchibo shop near you they may have one left.
Just found this for QVC Price £14.35 UK Postage & Packaging £4.95
There's nowt much to go wrong with them so if you car boot you may find a cheaper one. I've had the thermostat go on one after many years regular use but I doubt anyone else uses theirs as much as we do ours. I have a spare set of small recycled jam/mustard jars so we can have full-cream/semi skimmed yoghurts available all the time, so there's no need to worry if you haven't a full set of original jars.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

lil chooa - Pop over to the Old Style board, there are several threads about making yogurt and you might find a cheaper alternative.
If that doesn't help, you could try posting in the I Wanna board, I'm sure you'll get a few more answers.

I know you want several small pots rather than one large one, but I make mine in a 1lt pot and then decant it down, maybe that's something to consider. Good luck in finding something suitable for you
