Pampers from B&M dont fit pampers refuse to deal with us?

Options
Not to sure on what rights we have with this or who is really responsable.

We bought some Pampers in a B&M store where my mum lives when we went to visit last week. Only that whilst they are normally the correct size for our daughter they were notably smaller than the notmal size 5 Pampers we get back home. Looking at the side of the packaging I notice no english info (besides the english label pic) but it is printed that they were made in Poland.

No we phone (well the partner does) Pampers and they have pretty much refused to deal with us because they are not a UK product even though they were bought here. They refered us to the company (B&M) as thats were we bought them. B&M have said not there problem as if the wrong size have peen backed then it's Pampers who need to deal with it.

Get back onto Pampers and they say they wont deal with it as it's a product made in another country for use in another country and to persue B&M futher as they are the ones who have put a foreign product on sale thats not meant for the Uk market.

B&M are claiming the product must be ok as they have received no other complaints about the size. But B&M are apparently going to call back.

Anyone know who should deal with the issue as both sides seem to want to refer us to the other?.

Though I'd guess as they were made in Poland the size on the printing is correct for that country as I'd guess the size of babies there would be quite a bit smaller than here?. But a size 5 in Poland is more like a size 3-4 here.

probably difference is country sizing kids in Poland are skiner. your contract is with the supplier not the manufacturer take it up with them.

Sizing is only ever a guideline, and as the items were clearly intended for a different market, they are certainly not guaranteed to be the same size as those designed for the UK market. You may get a refund for any unopened packages as a courtesy, but otherwise I can't see that you have a complaint.
    Gone ... or have I?

Thanks for the replies, though it would be a good idea for such things to have a small english label\sticker on to inform customers that as a foreign product the size may not be the same as uk sizes etc.

Another post wher I was initially going to be unsympathetic.

But OP you need to ask Pampers if the UK size is different from the Polish size.

    Edit:- Sizes appear the same.
