the only thing that the national autistic society have are the thomas the tank engine zipper pulls, they really don't have a badge anywhere that i can see that the money goes to them. it's normally just people selling the pins and they're a business.
you might try and contact NAS and see if they have anything in the pipeline or just give a donation to them and print up cards for the tables that say "in lieu of favours we have giving a donation to <name of charity>"0 -
Thanks for that gandy, I think that's exactly what I will do x0

These are fantastic ideas and thought behind them brides to be. Well done to anyone helping to bring awareness to the forefront. Perhaps even a donation box at the reception if you don't think guests would be offended.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Thanks Jenhug, but i've seen them before and they're really expensive, with the pins being £4.10 each, so, we're going to make a donation to a charity that has helped the family with equipment etc and have cards made to go with the favours we already have.0 -
Its been a while since i started this thread but i thought about the badges for favours again as i never ended up getting them I would like the badges that come with cards like the cancer research ones do, how do i get hold of them?Bride2be24 wrote: »I love the badge idea, but how do i purchase them if i wanted to?Here you go xx

If the badges you want don't come with cards why not get some printed off yourself? Some of the free business card options at Vistaprint have purple flowers on them, and the text could easily read something like 'A donation has been made...'
I'm glad I found this thread anyway, it's reminded me that now I have a date I can purchase the cupcake pins from Cancer research that I've been wanting to order since we got engaged!Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00
