is there such a favour?

is there such a wedding favour for hodgkin's lymphoma? My OHs grandad died from it in Jan and with his grandma coming to our wedding i thought it would be a great favour but is there anything out there for it?

The violet ribbon is the symbol for HL...my friend is undergoing horrible treatment for it right now. I found a facebook page which may help point you to somewhere you could get favours. Hope you find something - it's a lovely idea x

There are loads HERE that say 'I wear violet for my Grandfather' which are hodgkins lymphoma awareness items and could be nice for your OH? badges etc. They havs stickers too which you could maybe incorporate somehow. There are others which say 'I wear violet for someone special' etc too-loads on there to think about!

I love those little periwinkle badges, if I was having a purple scheme I would buy those in a flash!
As we are having a red & sparkly scheme, i have bought these from British heart foundation
& these from avon for breast cancer care.
We will be having something else to go with them just not sure what yet!

I'm having purple as my theme, and with having my friend going through it right now it's made me a lot more aware of it. Will be saving these sites myself

Don't want to take over your thread bridetobe24, but I was wondering if anyone had seen anything similar for autism awareness? My oh's nephew is autistic and I'd like to do something like that if anyone can help?

it's amazing the number of charities out there that are aiming for the wedding market but it's a wonderful idea.

me and the OH mulled over favours for ages and to be honest i've been to so many weddings where the favours had been just left and forgotten that i really wanted to go for a donation to charity instead.

we've decided to go for autism as i have a nephew who's autistic. although because there are so few badges etc out there that you can buy where the money goes to autism (rather than the person just selling them) we've decided to donate to a charity where my sister lives that gives support to the surrounding families who have autistic kids.

We might make our own badges too (we have a badge machine so it will be easy to do) with the autism ribbon crest on it just to raise awareness.
