Any deals on Driving Lessons?
Hi,
i like to know if there is any deals on Driving lessons at the moment. National or Local (Birmingham).
My friend took about 50 hours of driving lessons and hes confident for the test. Hes already got his practical booked within a months time but the problem is hes current instructor is unavailable and cannot help him anymore.
So my friend is after deals on driving lessons. He said he needs about 4 hours in total (2 lessons before test and 2 on the day of the test).
Hes tried local instructors but they ill advised him saying he needs to start from scratch (just to make more money).
Whats a minimum amount of lessons a student has to take on with the national companies on average?
Or is there any deals on hiring a dual controls car?
thanks,

How would your " friend " know that?
Any instructor would need to assess his skills before judging how many lessons that he requires. ( not just to make money ).0 -

How long is this assessment? Hour or 2?
If its a couple of hours hence why i mentioned in first post require 2 hours before test.
Obviuosly no instructor would give his car for a test straight away for a the new student.0 -

A one hour assessment would be adequate to assess how many lessons your friend requires, the ADI would then advise a course of lessons.
Your friend will not know exactly how many lessons are required until this takes place.0 -

Don't BSM have on where the first lesson is free, if you don't like, you don't pay.0

If the test is in a month's time and the instructor is unavailable on that date at that much notice, can't you just move the test date to when the instructor is available?
Or could it be that the instructor has washed his hands of him for another reason - like he hasn't a hope in hell? Did the other instructors (suggesting starting from scratch) say that after seeing his driving? If so, the two pieces of the jigsaw seem to fit.
There are too many people who live in denial of their own shortcomings but everyone else can see them a mile off. Just look at the X-Factor auditions or "Britain's Got Talent" to see what I mean. Sadly, the same is true in the driver training industry too.0 -

Lol you jumping to conclusions quickly there mate. I seen him drive a car and hes definately up to standard.
Unavailable could be for dozens of reasons.
I started this thread not for whining and moaning but instead looking for deals on driving lessons. This is money saving expert.com, no. 1 site for deals right? Not for whining and moaning i believe.
Is it that hard to ask?0
