Alliance and Leicester direct debit?

Hi all,
After checking my account a few times recently, a new direct debit has appeared simply called 'Alliance&Leicester'.
Has anyone else with an Alliance and Leicester account noticed this? I'm thinking its because of the change over to Santander?
Cheers,
Richard

Check the reference number and you will see it is the same as one of your savings accounts

I have this on mine, since the switch to santander, it is something to do with moving money to your savings account.

Ah, silly me. Thanks for that guys.
Can i just remove the direct debit? I automatically opened a savings account when I opened the premier current account. I can see me using the savings account for a while!Debt free May 2012 - but starting from scratch.0
