Hotels/accomdation in Loughborough/Leicester?

Hi! I'm moving up to Loughborough to go to university soon, and parents being parents want to stay the night of the "big move". Looking around at most of the hotels/bed and breakfasts everything in the Loughborough/Leicester area seems to be around the £50-£60 mark, which my parents dont really want to pay!! Does anyone know of any cheap and cheerful hotels or bed and breakfasts in the Loughborough/Leicester area? One thing to bear in mind with the hotel is they will have a transit van with them that will need parking near the hotel!

They don't really want to pay £50, I'd persuade them to go home and watch the telly instead, leaving you to work out how to get discount entry to one of the best swimming pools in the UK that is in Loogerberooger.

TY sloppychops; the only saver rooms available near luffy seem to be the family rooms however theres some nice looking places on laterooms.com that I have passed on to my parents

They can book saver family rooms(even just for 2 adults at price stated) at Travelodge if they are wanting cheap and cheerful.

I always book a family room if I can...the room's usually a bit biggr because of the extra sofa.

Whatever you and your family do, make sure they do not stay in the Ramada in Loughborough. Went there a couple of months ago and something was stolen from the room - told the duty manager who then reluctantly told the police, whilst we were at breakfast the next day, the missing item turned up. I was not amused and it ruined the whole stay.

And definitely do not stay at the Days Inn Leicester centre, a total dump!
