Praise for Capital One I hear you say ?
From me , Yes !
Had a call from a guy at Capital One , needed to speak to me about a security issue , O Yes , says i , i`ll contact you !
Well i contacted Cap One via online secure message service via internet banking , reply , Yes it was us please cal 0800........ which i did , turned out they were trying to contact me about 8 transactions , all on same day for a firm called ITunes , told them i had never heard of them or ordered from them and after a few checks about my last use of card etc Cap One refunded over £500 of fraudulent charges, cancelled my card with a hold on my a/c and issued me with a new card ! all in 5 days !
Well Done Capital One !!

That does seem good service. However what intrigued me most was that you'd never heard of the world's biggest online music and application download store, run by Apple. I thought everyone had heard of it by now

Would not know what to do with a itune !
All my music is on Disc , Tape and even the old 45`s ! lol
Just an old fashioned guy that likes to go in the shop and browse .......
You may have seen me ? looking for Scott Walker and other such artist of the old days ! lol

Good post, but not sure about your choice of music <LOL>. I like the service from Capital 1 too. The 1% cash back is great.

I have always had a good service from Cap One, even Barclaycard have their good moments!

I use the Cap One for the credit card protection when buying online or high value items from shops. If it goes pear shaped, one call to Cap One and they sort it all out for me. Thankfully, I have only had to do this once.

I find with Barclaycard too, is that they call me if anything is out of the ordinary - so if I went down to the shops and spent £400, they would most certainly be on the phone to confirm the transaction.
