Medical Insurance or Health Cash Plan for over 70s

Hi there

I am new here so please be patient if I have overlooked a similar thread.

My parents are 70 and 79 and although they are in good health, I would like to find some form of medical cover that is not ridiculously expensive. Quotes have been over £100.00 per month which I know will work out cheaper should anything be required but I still feel that there must be more competitive and good offers about. Any recommendations?

thank you

£100pm for anyone over 70 sounds remarkably good value. Though it will depend on what treatment is included.

For a couple aged 63 and 67, we were paying £90 and £105 respectively for private inpatient care (we always paid our own outpatient care).

We went through a broker (http://www.preferredmedical.co.uk/) to find the best price.
