Does the printer even cost as much as a replacement toner.
Maybe a local refill company would be a better idea.Scottish proverb - "Never drink whisky with water and never drink water without whisky"0 -
Brand new printers come with a cartridge that is only 1/3 full, so even if a replacement cartridge costs more than the printer, it's still the better option. You can usually get them cheaper though, my ML1520 cost £50 new, and a genuine samsung cartridge was about £30.
(oh, and having said that, the cheapest I seem to be able to find now is about £42
) Why pay more than you have to?0 -
I use this printer for all my admin work which is mainly letters and reports. I buy bottles of refill toner for c £7.50 (only done twice as yet), remove the small screw at the end* to remove the end cap and expose the refill tab. Remove that tab, refiill and replace end cap & screw. Done.
* the right hand end as you pull the cartridge from the printer.0
