  • Forgot to mention that I got an e mail from them saying that anybody joining between yesterday and 6th of october, they make a £10 donation to the Manchester Kids Charity .

Thats great when you get £20 off + they give £10 to charity.

They must be very kind or very stupid!:money:
  • Oh yeah,

also forgot to mention that to get the £10 to go to charity there is a referral code 'Kids' which you enter in the box on the sign up page.

This also gets you 12 months membership for the price of 6.

As I said, very kind or v stupid
  • LOL, I'd say very kind!

I recom'd this a while ago and think it is great, and if you can help sort out social problems in the city which have an impact on all of our daily lives, then what a great idea:T
  • I was going to recomend that too after getting the e mail, I had a look at the Manchester Kids Charity website, didn't realsie there was so much poverty in manchester. You see all the flash cars, expensive bars and nice apartments and think that everybody lives like that. I read somewhere that in greater Manchester the average household income is just £16,500! Just makes you realsie how lucky you are.

Think that it is great that Citycard are doing this, it's a product aimed at the city living element, and the money it raises goes straight back into helping others around them.

I'm getting one as a present for a friend too as this is a great initiative:T

  • Oh yey,

You must type in 'Kids' as the referral code when you sign up to get the money to go to charity. Or if you're a real cheap-skate and you want to save an extra £3.50, you can use the code 'onionaug' to get it for £35.00 a year. But pay the extra and save the children!:A

Amforpm, pault76, close shave, patrickw...I don't suppose you would have any connection with this company at all? Reason I ask is I've checked ALL your previous posts on MSE and EVERY ONE of them is about this card. It's not very subtle, is it? What you should do is join, then post stuff about companies you aren't involved with, then when you have a bit of credibility, hit us with the blatant advertising of your company. The way you've gone about this suggests to me that if I was in the Dragon's Den, I wouldn't be putting any of my money in YOUR company.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
