A & L not paying as promised

Hi all. We claimed our PPI insurance back from A & L. To cut a long story back they offered us just over £2,000 which was far more than we expected. We duly sent back the acceptance form by registered post. They told us it would take up to two weeks to send the cheque - it has been almost 4 weeks and still nothing. I sent another letter asking for immediate payment middle of last week and so far nothing. Tried to contact A & L on a helpline number but as soon as you press for PPI the phone goes dead. Can anyone advise me what to do now please? The interest on the offer they made was too the 30th June would we be able to claim another months interest? Can anyone help and advise please.

I have no idea of who the Chief Executive officer (CEO) is of A&L, but on the link below, are some details of contacts, you could ask them who this is, as you need to write to him or her.

In regards of the interest, I am not sure if its from when they receive your acceptance that they work your interest, but still its worth asking for.

Email them Kath, they are taking ages. Mine took 3 weeks and I emailed over andover, others are taking as long as yours, call PPI aswell xx Ive posted number on my A&L Post
