Amazon: Hidden problems with Amazon Marketplace

Be warned had a nightmare with products bought through Amazon. Bought a secondhand iphone, when it arived there was a box but no iphone. Tried to get seller to refund us no joy, went through Amazon A to Z guarantee - today they told us they think it was a shipping problem , they did not send it, therefore they will NOT give us our money back.I regularly use Amazon, however this is one of the few times I have bought through Amazon Marketplace and I can see no advantages compared to buying it off a random website that a person has just made. I am shocked that a company like Amazon are so poor when it comes to refunding your money, when we have recieved no iphone. What is more is that we have paid over £230 and have had to return the pakaging it came in so at the moment i have paid over £230 and don't even have the pakaging. I was shocked by this and wanted to warn off any potential buyers as Amazon Marketplace is not a safe place to buy from.Incase anyone wants to know the seller of the iphone, for future purchases it is p_b_net.Hope you have a more successful transation on your next purchase.

That is not how an Amazon A-Z claim works, A-Zs are for marketplace sellers, are you sure you went through the correct procedure?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
