I am due to receive an inheritance from my late father in the shape of a life inurance.
This policy was unknown to me at the time of his death and it has been with Zurich for the last nine years, inclaimed!
Does anyone know if i can claim the interest as its been sat making interest for Zurich for the last nine years!!
Thank you.

Depends on the type of policy and when they were notified of his death.
If you only now notify them, then you shouldn't able to claim interest as they didn't know of the death, however, if they had been advised and you are only now claiming the money, then they will probably add the interest.0 -
They knew of his death in 2001, but its taken till now to trace me.
I couldnt inform them of his death as no one knew about this policy!
