Builder - How Much?

Hi guys
Maybe this is unanswerable, but I'm hoping that theres a general sort of price as its a quick job.
I'm wanting to narrow a double-doored square arch in my kitchen, so that we can have one wide door.
What might I expect to pay a trusted builder to do that, and would they 'make good' ie plaster over too ?
