New Printer -recommendations please

I had my printer stolen so now need to replace it & was wondering what printer/scanner you guys would recommend, for cheap to buy AND cheap inks but with good quality fast printing?

You can see some cheap printers here that have multi function capabilities including print, scan, copy etc for about £40-£45 from trusted brands like Canon, Epson and HP.

One important consideration is if wireless networking is an important requirement for you? (being able to print without having to connect wires from the PC to the printer).

Will you be printing high quality photographs, or do you just want a general all-rounder to print the odd webpage and Word document?

    Have a look here: http://www.trustedreviews.com/filter/printers?price_min=nmin&price_max=nmax&score=0&section_id=9&filter=94&manufacturer=0&submit.x=21&submit.y=15

Find one you like and then check the web for best prices.

If you can afford £100 and need wireless then the Canon Mp560 or the Epson SX515W seem to have rave reviews.

Doesnt need to be wireless but most important is the cost of the cartridges & ease of getting them really - just a general all rounder will be fine!

LOL its not really half price that's the going rate for that printer the MP492 is an Argos exclusive its the MP490 elsewhere, and it only takes 2 carts and they are expensive as far as im aware you cant get compats for that model :)

I always say Brother laser printers. Had mine for yrs and not needed to replace the toner cart. yet. Prints in high quality black and white, scans in colour and cheap, very cheap to run. Why do people want to print in colour only to bin the output at some time.
