Penalty Notice form Parking Eye,Please Advise

Hi,
Just receieved a PCN from Parking Eye saying I overstayed by 40 minutes in a Morrisons car park and have to pay £90, but if pay within 2 weeks I would only pay £40.
Can someone please advise me as I seen alot of other cases on this website concerning the Parking Eye Company and it seems about half are saying don't pay and the other half say pay.
Currently unemployed and been made bankrupt and i really can't afford to pay this espiacally if it is not legal.
Advise would be much apprecaited.

Not a PCN, just a speculative invoice. PCNs are issued by councils.

Ignore them. Parking eye are useless even by PPC standards. They usually give up after three letters and they never go near a court!0 -

Since PE never issue a court claim, you can ignore them with impunity0 -
Parking Eye cannot fine or issue penalty notices, I would dearly love to have day in court with them but they do not do court. I do not know how you came up with the figure of half the people on this website advising paying this scum. Listen to the wise words of Orford and Sir Roger and put your money to better use.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0
